About the Guitar

Description

The Altamira N600 is an all-solid powerhouse made for advanced players.

This guitar has a solid top and all solid Indian rosewood back and sides, with a strong rich classical tone suitable for the stage. The N600 is ideal for advanced classical guitar students at secondary or tertiary level.

This guitar has a solid top and all solid Indian rosewood back and sides, with a strong rich classical tone suitable for the stage.

The top of the guitar is the vital component for generating sound, vibrating as each string is plucked.

With solid top guitars, the more this soundboard vibrates, the more this single piece of wood adapts and ‘opens up’ which improves the quality of sound as the guitar ages..

Dan Nistico thought the NS-600 is “very nice and open, great sound” very revealing especially with tremolo technique.

Specifications:

  • Solid Cedar Top

  • Spanish Cedar Neck

  • Solid Indian Rosewood Back and Sides

  • Gloss Finish

  • Ebony Fingerboard

  • 650 mm (standard) Scale Length

Inclusions:
Carbon fibre rod reinforcement in neck to increase stability. accompanied by a gig bag, 99 cm long, 37.8 cm wide, 10.2 cm deep
