PROVENANCE
We initially imported this directly from the Madrid Workshop in 2013 and had it set up to exacting standards and it has just come up for resale since the current owner is upgrading to a concert model.

Acquiring a second-hand Manuel Contreras Estudio offers the potential to own a guitar from a renowned Spanish maker known for quality craftsmanship and excellent sound, often at a significant saving compared to a new model. One of the last made by Contreras.

It is in superb condition and is very resonant and playable. It displays the Contreras resonance and assertiveness and unlike many Contreras the left hand is easy and fluid and the right hand delivers without effort. Very sweet, lively sound, very colourful with great clarity.
