When Nicolasa Salamanca died, widow of Domingo Esteso, her nephews decided to call themselves first SOBRINOS DE DOMINGO ESTESO-CONDE HERMANOS and later HERMANOS CONDE-SOBRINOS DE DOMINGO ESTESO.
This period was the most fruitful for the brothers in the construction of the guitars demanded by the vast majority of professionals, among whom we find: Niño Ricardo, Sabicas, Melchor de Marchena, Mario Escudero, Paco de Lucia, Paco Cepero, Enrique de Melchor, the “Habichuela”, Oscar Herrero, Gerardo Nuñez, Rafael Riqueni, “Tomatito”, Al di Meola, John McLaughlin, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens…

Among guitar collectors this is a desired era for its excellent sound quality and is a very rare example of the famed Gravina 7 workshop signed by Paco de Lucia since this was the top model the workshop made in Brazilian Rosewood. This guitar is made of excellent tone woods, impossible to obtain nowadays. Brazilian rosewood with breathtakingly beautiful shades, as well as German spruce top, also with a straight and even grain endow this guitar with plenty of quality and character, typical of Hermanos Conde in that time.
This guitar has got great character. One of the most remarkable qualities is its incredible volume. While testing it thoroughly, we noticed really powerful and bright bass strings, as well as vivid trebles with great scope, all of which make a guitar with an extraordinarily high sound quality.
Alejandro Florez review of this guitar after he recorded the video of it was that it is “One of kind “ It is a mazing really it has everything you want in a flamenco guitar the projection and clarity you want in a flamenco guitar in strumming , beautiful to play. It has a couple of cosmetic things but in such a rare guitar it is to be expected. In sounds like Paco De Lucia’s Fuente and Caudal guitar. “Beautiful to play and one of a kind”
This flamenco guitar has got medium tension, and a perfectly balanced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
The condition is excellent and original, without any cracks with a minor ding on the right upper bout.
