1977 660 Scale Ramirez 1A

Description

The 1A is at the pinnacle of the Ramirez Workshop, who have set the standard in guitar making since 1882.

This 1A belongs to the golden era of guitar making within the Ramirez workshop which makes it very desirable.

This is the model played by most of the concert guitarist throughout the 20 Century including Andres Segovia, Narciso Yepes, Agustin Barrios, Julian Bream, Christopher Parkening, winner of many prizes and used in countless recordings.

This 1977 example is in superb condition and plays beautifully.

It displays all the hall marks of a 1A Colour full, full bodied exquisite trebles and warm ringing rich basses and velvety mid-range.

Daniel Nistico’s review of the 1977 Ramirez 1A after he played was ‘A Classic, it has a solid chunky sound. Very playable, the action is really great. It has that iconic sound. plays scales to show range.” It’s just beautiful  the basses especially, the high register is really nice, sweet and warm. To wrap it all up plays Capricho Arabe by Francisco Tarrega.”
