1987 James Keith - Steel

1987 James Keith - Steel

Handmade by James Keith for his guitar teacher Jochen Schubert as a soloist steel string guitar in mint condition having always been kept in the case.

Western Shape, Indian Rosewood Back and sides. Body meeting neck at 15th with high C 20th fret.  Similar to Martin Westerns in quality of tone and output.  Sustain in all registers is good right down the neck to highest positions with good balance between base and treble.

Hannabach extra light flat wound (reduce squeaks), although Dean Markley strings project basses better.  Used in concerts and film recording work by professional musicians Ralph Towner, Jazz and manuouche.
